Mango BBQ Pork Ribs Recipe

This is a sponsored post for SheSpeaks/Smithfield at Walmart.

We are back with another fun pork recipe. This time we bought Smithfield Pork All Natural Back Ribs and created this delicious recipe for a family gathering. There was not a piece of meat left over.

Mango BBQ Pork Ribs

  • Smithfield Pork All Natural Back Ribs
  • 39 oz btl of Kraft Hickory Smoke BBQ Sauce
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 2 mangos
  • 1 bunch cilantro
  • 1 sweet onion
  • 2 carrots
  • ½ cup orange juice
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • Mccormick Sweet and Smoky Rub

  1. Chop the mango, cilantro, garlic, onion, and carrot. Sauté with olive oil until mango is soft and onions are translucent. Add the hoisin, sugar, oj, and 2 cups of water. Simmer for 5 minutes. Add the kraft bbq and simmer for 15 minutes.
  2. Preheat oven to 350. Rub the ribs with the sweet and smoky rub. Brush with bbq sauce. Place ribs in a large pan and add 1 cup of bbq and 1 cup of water. Cover and tent the ribs with aluminum foil, then bake for 1 hr 15 minutes.
  3. While the ribs bake prepare the grill. You want 250 degrees with plenty of wood chip for smoke. We used apple and cherry wood. Once the ribs are done cooking in the oven, baste with bbq and transfer to the grill using a rib roasting rack. Cook/smoke for 1 ½ hours, basting every 15 minutes.
  4. Eat and enjoy.
