Looking for a rose pasta sauce? Did you know that it is almost one of the biggest date nights of the year? That's right, Valentine’s Day Date Night is coming up. When you see the recipe below, you might just want to consider eating this year. We love a good heavy cream shrimp scampi and anything with shrimp. This is also fabulous as one of the easy shrimp linguine recipes. We have partnered with Bertolli to not only come up with this Rosa Pasta with Shrimp but also other great Bertolli recipes to share with you.
So many sauces are made the Italian way. We know this because we have pretty much tried them all. However, only Bertolli Sauces are made in the Tuscan Way which means they offer a few simple ingredients, cooked lightly with olive oil creating many layers of unique flavor. This Valentine's Day, gather your significant other, the girls, or even your family to open a jar of the only premium pasta sauce brand, Bertolli where you can 100% Taste the Tuscan Difference. Don’t just reach for a jar of Italian, reach for a jar of Tuscan and taste the delicious difference
This is simple. Sugo rosa pasta sauce, also called rosa sauce or rosa pasta sauce is alfredo sauce mixed with tomato sauce. In our case, we were mixing alfredo and marinara to create our shrimp rose pasta recipes although some people use tomato and alfredo sauce mixed. We believe we have created the best Best Rosa Sauce Recipe with the delicious Bertolli sauce we used.
Serves 5-6 people
In a large pot, bring 2 gallons of water to a boil. Add approximately 1/4 cup of kosher salt, and then cook the pasta according to the package directions. Drain and set aside.
When cooking shrimp for pasta, in a large saute pan, heat the olive oil. Season the shrimp with salt, pepper, and oregano. Once the pan is hot add the shrimp and allow them to sear on one side for about a minute (don't mess with the shrimp; just let them sit and sear). After about a minute, flip the shrimp and cook for another few minutes. When the shrimp are done remove them from the pan (the shrimp are done when they curl up and are no longer translucent) and set aside.
Add the onion and garlic to the hot saute pan. Cook for a few minutes, stirring occasionally. When the onion begins to soften and the garlic begins to brown, add the greens and saute until wilted.
Now add the Bertolli Traditional Marinara Sauce to the pan and mix.
Next, add the Bertolli Alfredo Sauce to the pan for one of our easy shrimp linguine recipes. Mix the sauce well with the contents of the pan to create your Rosa sauce.
Turn the flame to low, and add the shrimp back in to the saute pan. Heat for a few minutes.
Finally, turn off the flame and add the tomatoes and fresh mozzarella. Toss the finished sauce with the spaghetti, plate, and enjoy!
