These Toffee Chocolate Chip Cookies combine two flavors that I love and they are so incredibly delicious that I never want to share them with anyone.

- Preheat your oven to 325 degrees.
- Unwrap your Heath candy bars and cut them in half the long way. Then cut into cubes, you will want larger pieces to ensure you get the full toffee goodness.
- Sift together the flour, salt, and baking soda and set aside. Cream together butter, sugars, and eggs until smooth, add in the cocoa powder. Slowly start to add in the flour mixture. Mix in your toffee pieces so they are even throughout the batter.
- Space the dough about 3 inches apart. Use an ice cream scoop for consistently sized cookies.
- Bake for 10-14 minutes (every oven is different so keep an eye as you approach the 10-minute mark. You will want the cookies to be slightly undercooked for a perfectly chewy finish even a couple of days later.
- As soon as the cookies come out of the oven remove them from the tray and place them on a clean, cool counter. Let them rest there until fully cooled. Store in the refrigerator for the freshest taste.
