Romantic Places and Activities at Disney World
Even in a park as busy as Disney World, there are plenty of chances to be romantic with your partner and just enjoy the moment and each other. Sometimes all it takes is the right spot, a romantic place or just doing something that leads to you being closer and sharing a special moment. Walt Disney World is always aware that there are couples that come to celebrate special milestones in their life, so many places have been set up just for these moments, and they always have an ear open to ideas or plans that their guests want to arrange. These are some of the most romantic places and activities at Disney World that you can head to when you want to feel the love and magic. We hope that you enjoy this Romantic Places and Activities at Disney World.
Firework Shows
There are two distinct and very popular firework shows at Disney World every night, the Illuminations Show at Epcot and the Wishes show at Magic Kingdom. Both are fabulous and special in their own way, and a great way to end the night. If either of you are first time Disney World attendees, go with the show at Magic Kingdom, but try to reserve a table for dinner in one of the many restaurants that overlooks the view. The Illuminations Show is equally as romantic and the setting offers even more than the thinner crowds in the Magic Kingdom allow for. Watch from any of the lagoons or fountains where you can get cozy for the half hour show.
Romantic Walk Through Paris
If a romantic walk through the city of love, Paris, France, gets you and the love of your life closer together, then there is no need to jump on a flight. Instead, head to Epcot and walk around the lagoons at night with the Eiffel Tower in the background. Grab a bottle of wine for the two of you to enjoy and even take the chance to hop on a boat ride down the canal that passes by many of the countries that make up this park.
One of the most romantic, and little known, things to do at Disney World is to walk the beach in the evenings at the Polynesian Resort. Every evening the beach at The Polynesian is almost empty, and open to couples that want to take a romantic stroll on the beach, sit and cuddle or share a hammock. This also happens to be a great spot to watch the Wishes firework show from, without hundreds of people sharing the moment with you.
Romantic Meal for Two
Disney World has hundreds of restaurants for couples to choose from, and several of them make the perfect spot to have a romantic meal. Favorites include Victoria & Albert’s, Garden View Tea Room, California Grill and Bistro de Paris. When it comes down to it, almost every restaurant can be the spot for your romantic meal at the right time and for the right reason. Some folks like to share a plate of spaghetti like was done in Lady & the Tramp, others like being treated like royalty at Cinderella’s Castle. It really is about making the meal your own and enjoying the ambiance, so try to book a late dinner slot when most children are being tucked into bed.
