Brave’s Merida Gem Styling Doll + Brave Castle & Forest Playset

This summer when it’s too hot to hit the park, grab your family and a cold soda to see the newest heart-warming adventure that is sure to have everyone talking. Disney•Pixar’s Brave (opened in theaters on June 22nd) tells the story of Merida, a young Scottish royal full of fiery independence who must find the courage to save her family from a mysterious curse.

In celebration of the film, Mattel has unveiled a toy line that captures the relatable, girl-friendly moments from the movie. Now, the bravest young girl (or boy) you know can recreate key scenes from the film, play out magical transformations and even write spirited storylines of your very own.

My girls ripped open the boxes the moments these items arrived. The Merida doll is just wonderful. It is a good size, sturdy and made to withstand hours of playing. The castle set was immediately claimed by my older daughter who set it up on her nightstand and plays with it daily.

I haven’t yet seen Brave, but I’ll say Princes Merida–I always like to be the princess 🙂
I know I will like the character of Fergus, because I love Billy Connelly!

I don’t believe my granddaughters have seen this as of yet. I know their mom has talked about taking them so…I don’t know how to answer this question. I have lots of little Princesses so maybe Princess Merida would be the one.
