Did you know that family meals eaten at home have been proven to benefit the health and wellness of children and adolescents, to fight obesity, substance abuse and to make families stronger – creating a positive impact on our communities and our nation as a whole?
I completely believe this. One thing that I have always insisted on as a family is that we must have dinner together every single night at our kitchen table. I love sitting down each night with my husband and kids so we can talk about our days. We talk about everything and many times we play board games or cards after dinner. This is the one time that I feel we are always connected to each other and disconnected from the rest of the world. And on the weekends, we like to have at least one family breakfast.
These bacon & egg cups are perfect for our weekend morning ritual. They are easy to make, and best of all, everyone in the house loves them. That is a big deal in our house, as there always seems to be at least one no vote for almost every recipe!
These look SOO good. Thanks for Pinterest, I learned you can bake eggs but I had never thought about adding the bacon. Bacon makes everything better so I’ll have to give it a try 🙂
You had me at bacon! My whole family would LOVE these.

My husband has been after me to make eggs cups. I’m so weird about my eggs, though. I’ll pass this to him and HE can make himself some!

It makes perfect sense that family meals eaten at home have been proven to fight obesity, substance abuse and to make families stronger because the meals tend to be healthier and the time spent together strengthens the familial bond. Thank you for sharing this great recipe.
I love sitting down to a nicee family dinner. Those that do tale the time to have dinner together and sit and talk even if its once a day are so much closer. Its a time to disconnect, to listen.
