In honor of all of that and our love of candy canes, we just had to share this absolutely amazing Candy cane sugar soak and scrub made with, of course real candy canes. Candy cane sugar scrub
Ingredients
- 1 candy cane crushed
- ½ cup white sugar
- 2-3 teaspoons natural mica powder
- dash of natural mica powder for a shimmery glow (optional)
- peppermint essential oil
Directions
- Combine the candy cane, sugar and optional mica powder together in a jar and mix well.
- Slowly add in the coconut oil until you have the consistency you prefer. I tend to prefer a scrub that is a bit less wet and this amount works well for that, but you could certainly use more.
- Add 5-10 drops of peppermint essential oil depending on your strength preference.
- Store in an airtight container for about a month or freeze for up to a year and pull out when ready to use or gift.
How to use
When ready to use, rub in a circular motion over your skin and rinse with warm water or add to a soaking bath. Use a light moisturizer after and be careful that your feet may be slippery after using.
