  • ¼ cup unsweetened coconut flakes
  • ½ cup almond butter
  • 1 cup old-fashioned oats
  • ¼ cup ground chia seeds
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ¼ cup dark chocolate chips

Directions for the almond joy bites nut butter balls recipe

  1. To prep, line a baking sheet with wax paper and have your coconut flakes ready in a small bowl.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, fold together almond butter, oats, chia seeds, and honey. You may add more honey and/or oats depending on how sticky your batter is coming out. You’ll want it to feel like wet sand (so that you can roll them into bites).
  3. Fold in chocolate chips and start rolling into 1-inch spheres. Coat with coconut flakes and set on a lined baking sheet. Repeat.
  4. Chill for at least one hour and enjoy.
