For some, plain water can be boring. Infused water with fruits like berries, citrus, or cucumber adds a touch of flavor, making it more enticing to drink more fluids throughout the day. Compared to sugary drinks like soda or juice, fruit-infused water is a calorie-free way to add some sweetness to your beverage. This can be helpful for those aiming to manage weight or cut down on added sugar.

While the amount of vitamins and minerals transferred from fruit to water is minimal, some fruits like berries and citrus can add a small amount of extra nutrients to your drink. Certain fruits like lemon or cucumber are thought to aid digestion. While more research is needed, some people find infused water with these fruits helps with digestion. The natural sweetness of fruits might help curb cravings for sugary drinks or snacks. This can be beneficial for weight management or healthy eating goals.
