Infused water was not even something I had considered before getting a Soda Stream. This is not sponsored rather another recipe made even better with sparkling water straight from our Soda Stream. This infused water is 100% natural, 100% clean, with zero preservatives, and minimal calories. Wakes up the senses giving a sense of calm. We hope that you love this Fresh Blackberry Mint Infused Water Recipe.

Directions for one glass

  1. Place the blackberries in a glass and muddle slightly.
  2. Add ice to the glass. Bruise the mint leaves or crunch them together. This activates the oils of the herb which I then rub generously around the rim of the glass dropping the mint leaves right on top of the ice.
  3. Finally, this is where we LOVE to add our favorite touch to the drink with our Soda Stream. We top the beverage with fresh sparkling water which when combined with mint oil creates a refreshing drink. Alternate ending: top with cold water for an equally great fruity mocktail.
  4. Add a few mint leaves or sprigs to garnish your drink. Give the drink a paper straw and/or cocktail umbrella and serve.

Directions for a pitcher

  1. Place the blackberries in your glass pitcher and muddle slightly.
  2. Add 6 cups of water to the pitcher (about 1/2 full).
  3. Put it in the refrigerator to allow the flavors to infuse. We recommend anywhere from 1 – 8 hours.  The longer it sits, the more flavor you will get from the fruit.
  4. When serving, add ice to the glass. Bruise the mint leaves or crunch them together. This activates the oils of the herb which I then rub generously around the rim of the glass dropping the mint leaves right on top of the ice.
  5. Top the beverage with 4 cups of sparkling water from the Soda Stream or as an alternate use 4 cups of really cold water.
  6. Add a few mint leaves or sprigs to garnish your drink. Give the drink a paper straw and/or cocktail umbrella and serve.

Notes

  • Give your drink or pitcher a stir with a long spoon or gentle shake a few times during the refrigeration process to get the flavors to infuse.
  • Feel free to add more blackberries or fresh mint for more flavor.
  • This refreshing water can easily be adjusted to taste preferences or fruits in season.
  • Need a sweeter drink? My mother adds a little simple syrup to her beverage and stirs it in.
