As a busy family, we are constantly on-the-go during the week. My kids are involved in a myriad of activities and this sometimes means that my husband and I are passing each other in our cars as we shuttle kids back and forth.
While we always want to make homemade meals, that is really not an option all of the time. The most important part to me is that we are sitting around the dinner table together enjoying our food. We sometimes resort to quick and easy options that the entire family loves.
This week we are cooking with Prego® and the results were delicious!
- 1/2 onion, sliced
- 1/2 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1/4 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1/4 cup snow peas
- 1 yellow squash, sliced
- 1/2 pound stir fry beef
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 jar Prego traditional sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Season the beef with salt and pepper.
- Heat the olive oil in a pot until very hot.
- Add the beef and vegetables. Saute for a couple of minutes ( until the beef is browned ).
- Add the Prego sauce and bring to a simmer.
- Serve over pasta or rice.
