Lavender Body Scrub Homemade

Ingredients

5 to 10 drops pure Lavender essential oil
½ cup white sugar
½ cup Epsom salts
1 tbsp coconut oil, liquid or really soft
sweet almond oil to achieve the consistency you’re looking for
dried lavender flowers, optional but they are a nice touch for gifts

Directions

Start by mixing together the salt and sugar, once they are fully combined add in the coconut oil.
Follow with very slowly adding in the lavender essential oil, one drop at a time and then checking it might be helpful to ensure it isn’t too weak or strongly scented.
Finish by adding in the almond oil. You can add more or less depending on the consistency you prefer. I tend to like slightly drier scrubs vs really wet and sort of runny. I repurposed a cosmetics jar or you can find blue jars online or locally at places like Whole Foods.
