Chocolate is one of my absolute favorite things ever. In fact, everyone in my family loves chocolate as well. We always have several different types on chocolate on hand including cocoa powder, chocolate chips, chocolate melts and more. We make something with chocolate three to four times per week and are always looking for fun, new chocolate recipes that we can try as a family. Chocolate Trifle with Kahlua
Ingredients
- 1 box Devil’s Food cake mix, prepared as a cake
- 1 large box instant chocolate fudge pudding, prepared as pudding
- 5 cups of fresh whipped cream, whipped stuff
- 1 cup brewed strong coffee or espresso
- 1 cup Kahlua
- ½ cup Bailey’s Irish Cream
Directions
- Prepare the Devil's Food cake and chocolate pudding according to instructions. Chill both for a few hours. You can also add some Kahlua to your cake mix before baking if you really want to infuse the flavor.
- Cut Devil’s Food cake into 2 inch cubes, and add enough to bottom of trifle bowl to cover the bottom.
- Pour ¼ cup of coffee and ¼ cup of Kahlua evenly over cake.
- Top with ¾ cup pudding, spread until smooth.
- Add 1 inch layer of whipped cream, and cover with 2 tbsp of Bailey's Irish Cream.
- Repeat steps 2-4 until bowl is full.
- Top with cake crumbs and a drizzle of Kahlua.

This looks quite good plus it doesnt look or sound terribly difficult. I would try this for a nice dinner dessert if i needed something pretty. I would try and eat this just as a meal 🙂
