My kids love nothing more than a fun class party for Valentine's Day. These Rice Krispies treats are a family fave that get made every single Valentine's Day without fail. Rice Krispies treats just remind me of my childhood because they were always one of our favorite things to make. My sister and I would make a pan of Rice Krispies treats every couple of months but we never experimented like this. You can even make chocolate Rice Krispies treats which are absolutely amazing plus there is also really no limit as to what you can mixin with these treats to make them even better. We hope that you love these Conversation Hearts Rice Krispies Treats.

  1. In a medium to large saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Add the marshmallows and stir until completely melted.
  2. Stir in enough food coloring to make the marshmallows very pink. Remove from heat.
  3. Add Rice Krispies cereal and mini marshmallows. Stir until cereal is well combined.
  4. Prepare a cookie sheet with sides by spraying with cooking spray or coating with butter.
  5. Butter a spoon or your hands or use wax paper to press the mixture into the pan evenly. Press conversation hearts evenly around the mixture.
  6. After cooling, use heart shape cookie cutters to cut out treats.

We hope that you loved these Conversation Hearts Rice Krispies Treats. Remember that you can absolutely get creative with other fun mixins like candy or cookies. We even tried adding fudge once which was amazing! Really the key is just experimenting and finding something that everyone loves. Get creative, get everyone involved and have fun. Happy Valentine's Day!
