The open air courtyard brings a sense of nature to the hotel which is located in the Southside District of downtown Chattanooga. The Chattanoogan's warm inviting lobby and roaring fireplace create a charm and comfort like nothing seen before. The 25,000-square-foot conference center has been rated the 2010 Best of the South Award from Meetings Media, the 2010 Successful Meetings Pinnacle Award and the 2010 Convention South Reader's Choice Award.

Events can utilize 25,000 sq. ft. of convertible meeting space that can accommodate groups of 6 to 600. Relieve stress at the fitness center with cardio equipment, indoor pool, locker rooms, steam and sauna rooms.

Relax in the evening in the chairs by the outdoor firepit. This was the place we instantly gravitated to every night. My husband and I enjoyed the peace as did our children.

The hotel's restaurant, Noogan's Coffee Market, serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Dining options include farm-fresh, locally sourced American cuisine crafted by executive chef Matt Pinner, and served in a contemporary setting at The Broad Street Grille. Accolades given to the Sunday brunch, which uniquely offers a build-your-own Bloody Mary bar. Broad Street is the option for in-room fine dining. In addition, a daily cup of java and hot from the oven pastries are served all day at Stroud's Sidewalk Cafe, which doubles as a catering option for corporate clientele.

Excellent food and drinks in terms of light cuisine and concoctions can be found at The Foundry Lounge. This lounge has billiards, table shuffleboard, game-day large televisions, and the ability to sashay away your stress to local musicians on the weekends with live music on Friday and Saturday nights.

During our visit, we were invited to try their fabulous Easter buffet. We would go back to this hotel just for the brunch alone if we happened to be passing through town and not staying at this hotel.

The City of Chattanooga equally is served through Benchmark Hospitality's “Hometown Hospitality Caring For Our Community” initiative, which encourages employees to participate in local events that support charities. We loved our stay at the Chattanoogan Hotel. The hotel was upscale, well maintained and very welcoming. We enjoyed ourselves and everyone wanted to return.
