Grapefruit Lemonade Recipe

This is one of my favorite recipes in the whole world! It's not groundbreaking, it's not fussy and it's not difficult at all to make, and in my books, that's what differentiates a normal recipe from a staple one. This is the type of recipe you pull out every Spring and Summer and that transforms into a family tradition. Yes, Grapefruit Lemonade is just about to become a staple in your home too. We hope that you love this Grapefruit Lemonade Recipe.

I love Lemonade, and my whole family loves it as well but as delicious as it is I like to play with recipes and make them even more especial. That's how I discovered the Grapefruit Lemonade. It tastes just like the comfort recipe everyone knows and loves but with a (so delicious!) twist.

I actually like to make a huge pitcher of it and keep it in the refrigerator so everyone can reach it, and since it also has fruit chunks floating the lemonade gets infused with even more flavor while resting in the fridge. So you can consider this a recipe that gets better over time.

While I like to keep the Grapefruit Lemonade simple you can also customize it to add more flavor. It's delicious with springs of rosemary, or with some fresh leaves of mint. You can also change the grapefruit for some orange if you feel like it or you can add a couple of strawberries to infuse it with another layer of flavor.

To make it just boil the sugar and water together and then mix the simple syrup with lemon juice, grapefruit juice, and cold water. Cut some chunks of lemon and grapefruit. Pour everything into a huge pitcher and that's it. It has a bit of citrus, a touch of tartness and a whole lot of deliciousness.
