8 Must Do Things in Paris
8 Must Do Things in Paris Traveling is one of my favorite things to do in the world, especially when it is out of the country. There is something about experiencing a different culture...
There are few things in my life that have impacted me as much as my experiences traveling. Growing up as the daughter of a soldier, we would get in the car and head to our next destination for every vacation. Road trips were as much a part of our family as family dinners. I remember spending hours in the car and just chatting about everything with my parents. That closeness, the feeling of just being a family and so much more happened on those trips.
We went RVing once while growing up and we had such an amazing time. I remember the RV like it was yesterday. We had a bed over the driver's area and one in the back. All of the kids had such a great time playing games and just being together on the road. We sang along to every song on the radio and it was one of the most memorable trips of my childhood.
Fast forward many years and now my family has been wanting to take an RV trip together for years, my husband especially. We have planned many itineraries to rent RVs around the US and our top plan is to head for the Pacific Coast Highway in California. We want to visit state parks, beaches and everything in between.
RVing has become so mainstream that it really is such an easy way for families to travel. We love taking our pets wherever we go and renting an RV is the perfect way to take your pets along no matter where you go. Renting an RV frees you up to pursue your passions with those who matter most in your life. For me, this is my family.
One of the amazing things about RVing is that everything is in one place. There are no luggage limits or time constraints. RVing is all about relaxing and seeing what you want to see on your own time.
The memories that we could make on the road and the fun we would have visiting the amazing beaches in California. This is what happens when my kids get to the beach:
My dream RV vacation involves the California coast, a few national and state parks and putting my toes in the sand. Here is a sample of a few of the places we would go:
I cannot imagine anything more fun than sticking my toes in the sand at Point Lobos State Reserve and just soaking up the sun with my kids. Or searching for fabulous sea glass on Fort Bragg Glass Beach with my husband and bringing it home to share. I honestly can't decide what we would do first. It is all so exciting!
These are my actual toes in the sand. I love sitting on the beach and watching the waves. We surf. We boogie board. We swim. We snorkel. We dive. We paddleboard. We look for shells and seaglass. We love hanging out on the beach and any vacation that gets us to the beach is always a success in my book.
Can't you just imagine your toes in the sand?
