Universal Studios Florida in Orlando – Family Fun for Everyone
Our visit took place during the month of March which was just about as perfect as it could get weather wise. Our day began at 9AM and ended around 6PM which was just about enough time to visit half of the park. I highly recommend spending two days here to fully see everything. We have already planned a trip to visit again in August.
Shrek 4-D features a 3-D film with vocals from the movie's original cast. You will first enter Lord Farquaad's dungeon and then a 3-D theater where special effects and wearing OgreVision glasses bring everything to life! You will feel, see and hear the action as your seat moves and other special effects make you feel as if you are right there in the fairytale adventure.
The Simpsons Ride lets you ride with the Simpsons to Krustyland, which was created by Krusty the clown. You will be right there with Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie!
You can launch off on Jimmy Neutron's Nicktoon Blast. You will be in a rocket and Jimmy will be right beside you in his rocket with his friend Carl and Carl's dog, Goddard. You'll visit the Rugrats and then go on to your last stop, SpongeBob SquarePants, a simulator ride, that will have you laughing and surprised!
You will ride a flying bicycle through the woods if you go on the E. T. Adventure. You'll be flying over the city past the moon and see the beautiful stars! This adventure is based on one of the most beloved and popular movies ever made, E. T., Extraterrestrial.
Woody Woodpecker's Nuthouse Coaster lets you ride through Woody's nut factory which is filled with nutty jokes. The ride has lots of hills and thrills. It is perfect for toddlers who have never experienced any kind of ride because it is fun without the steep drops and is gentle with the turns and circles.
Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit is a little more daring and thrilling than some of the other rides. This ride climbs straight up, goes 65 miles per hour and is 17 stories over Universal Studios! You get to rock out to the song that you chose. The best part is you get to edit your own video of your ride and can purchase it to take with you and share with family and friends!
