Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla and milk.
  3. Roll out puff pastry dough and using a pizza cutter or sharp knife cut an equal amount of strips on each side of dough about 1 inch apart.
  4. Using a spatula, spread half of the cream cheese / yogurt mixture down the middle, and then cover with ½ cup of jam.
  5. Starting at on end, cross over the strips of dough in a criss-cross pattern.
  6. Repeat the process with the second sheet of puff pastry.
  7. Beat egg and water together to make an egg wash and brush the tops of each Danish.
  8. Bake for 22-25 minutes or until golden brown.
