We are back with another fun beverage recipe. This time it's the Raspberry Spiked Agua Fresca Recipe. I love nothing more than a cool cocktail on a hot summer day and anything made with rum is fine by me. My favorite rum is Captain Morgan and they just came out with three new flavors that are amazing. We have tried all three flavors and my husband is quite a fan of mixing them all together. I also love the traditional Captain Morgan Spiced Rum.
A few weeks ago, we made this delicious Pineapple Mojito with Pineapple Rum from Captain Morgan. This time we are back with another fun rum recipe because Captain Morgan then sent me another bottle to participate in their Memorial Day Contest. The recipe below is our submission and it is one of our new favorite recipes.
Perfect for hot summer days, this easy raspberry ague fresca will quickly become your drink of choice. The mint and soda makes this drink so refreshing and delicious. It’s ideal during the warmer months plus the colors are festive for holidays and more. Try this recipe and it may be your favorite drink year-round.
Raspberry Spiked Agua Fresca Recipe
Ingredients
- 3 cups fresh raspberries
- 4 shots of Captain Morgan Silver Spiced Rum or your favorite white rum or raspberry rum
- ice as needed
- soda water as needed
- mint leaves
- 3 limes, quartered
Directions
- Divide the fresh raspberries between four glasses and then mash them lightly to extract some of their juices.
- Fill each glass with ice, then pour one shot of rum in each.
- Top with soda water, garnish with mint and lime quarters, then serve.
