Our Busy Week
To say that we are a busy family would be an understatement.
There are three children and two adults in our household. My husband and I both work (a lot) while raising a 5-, 7- and 9-year old.
I am a Brownie leader and a Daisy leader for the 5- and 7-year olds. My son is also a Scout. All three kids take art classes, participate in gymnastics and just finished up playing soccer. My son also just started lacrosse. The older two want to join another acting class and the little one wants to take ballet.
In addition, we have birthday parties and other family events that we attend on a regular basis. It is rare that we do not have an action packed weekend. In fact, it is rare that we don't have an action packed week.
So yes our lives our busy but my kids enjoy it. I enjoy watching them participate in activities they love and excel at these activities. But all of these activities require a tremendous amount of planning and coordination. They require energy and drive. One wrench in the plans can ruin the entire week.
I am constantly planning meals and snacks with many of them needing to be eaten on the go or without a lot of time. I am looking for new foods and things that my family will like such as Tyson® Mini Bread Bowls. My kids love things like this and I love how easy they are to prepare.
