DIY Cleaning Paste
It seems like we are always cleaning and organizing around our house. We always have some sort of house cleaning or organizing project we are working on and then a lot more in the future. Years ago I started making this cleaning paste to clean furniture that I would find at garage sales and rehab to sell later. It works so well that I know use it around the house for other things. If you are searching for a scouring paste or a good multi purpose cleaning paste, this recipe for an all purpose cleaning paste uses a really good baking soda paste for cleaning. We hope that you love this DIY Cleaning Paste recipe.
Take ¾ cup of baking soda and ¼ cup castile soap and whisk together well.
Add in 1 tbsp. purified water and mix well.
Add in 10 drops lemon essential oil and 6 drops melaleuca essential oil.
Whisk all together. It will fluff up nicely into a foamy paste.
To use: Spread on sink fixtures, shower, etc. And let sit for about 10 to 15 minutes. Then come back with a wet rag and wipe down clean. It polishes nicely and kills bacteria and fungus, cleaning really well. Be sure to stir well each time before using.
NOTE: We use a small mason jar, or other glass jar with lid. About an 8 oz. size is best. This tends to set up and harden if it stays unused very long, so you don’t want to make up too much at a time and end up wasting it.
Whether you needed a cleaning paste, a diy shower cleaner scrub, homemade cleaning paste, bathroom paste or even a diy soft scrub, our homemade soft scrub recipe will not disappoint. We hope that you are inspired by this DIY Cleaning Paste recipe. Happy cleaning!
