Brie, Ham and Grilled Chicken King's Hawaiian Sliders Recipe

I have long been a fan of King's Hawaiian Rolls, and my youngest would them for every meal if we let her. I don't blame her. There is something about the slightly sweet flavor of a King's Hawaiian roll, and when you pair it with warm brie, ham, and chicken? The stuff should be illegal.

These Brie, Ham, and Grilled Chicken King's Hawaiian Sliders are a favorite of ours because while they are amazing hot, they are also a wonderful cold sandwich. Perfect for throwing into the cooler and eating on the go. Let's get cooking; I hope you like the sliders!

Brie, Ham and Grilled Chicken King's Hawaiian Sliders Recipe

Ingredients

  • King's Hawaiian Sandwich Rolls
  • 8 ounce chicken breast – grilled
  • Honey Ham, sliced thin
  • Brie
  • Tomato, sliced
  • Field greens
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • Balsamic vinegar

Directions

  1. Season the chicken with salt, pepper, lemon juice, and olive oil. Grill. Let rest for 10 minutes then slice thin.
  2. Pile the ham (about 3-4 slices) on top of the chicken and then place a thickly sliced piece of Brie on top of the ham(no rind). Place on the top rack of the oven at 350 degrees.Cook until cheese is slightly brown and bubbling.
  3. While that is cooking, in a small bowl, mix the field greens with a tablespoon of olive oil and a tablespoon of vinegar. Add a dash of salt and pepper. Mix well.
  4. Season the tomato slices with salt, pepper, and olive oil.
  5. Place a handful of the field greens mixture on the bottom of the bun and then add the tomatoes.
  6. Add the chicken breast topped with ham and brie. Top with the bun and cut in half.

My husband likes to toast the bun when we are eating this sandwich hot but I like it un-toasted so that is a matter of preference. If you want to go real big, you can throw it in a sandwich press…it comes out incredible.

I usually make two sandwiches at once. What makes this sandwich great is the creaminess of the Brie combined with all of the other flavors and the sweetness of the King's Hawaiian Sandwich Rolls. The taste is amazing.
