Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700
I have a confession to make. I love Bose headphones. I've been rocking a pair of QuietComfort headphones since they first hit the market. I use them for travel, home listening, and small breaks of silence. So when I heard about the Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700 coming to market, I was excited, and when Best Buy asked if I would like to review a pair… Let's just say I was over the moon. These headphones offer up to 20 hours of wireless battery life while and introduce new features such as touch control, personalized noise cancelling, Bose AR, and more. Let's take a closer look. We hope that you enjoy this Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700 post.
Unboxing the Bose Noise Canceling Headphones 700
Out of the box, these headphones look good. They come in a sturdy case, and the case itself has a hidden compartment that holds accessories. The headphones have a sleek modern look, and I found the earcups and fit to be fantastic. The Bose Noise Canceling Headphones 700 are built for comfort; I could easily wear these headphones for hours. Unlike my QuietComfort headphones, the new design loses most switches and buttons in favor of touch control. By touching the right earcup with various gestures, one can control things like volume and track selection. There are a few buttons though; the right earcup has buttons for power and summoning your personal assistant, and the left earcup has a button that allows you to control the level of noise cancellation.
Speaking of Noise Cancelling…
The Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700 offer a brand-new acoustic design. This enables the headphones to achieve the best noise cancelling performance of any Bose headphone ever, all while allowing you to transition from complete isolation to full awareness of your surroundings. By tapping the left earcup button, you can control how much the noise cancelling technology blends the sounds of the outside world with what you are listening to, allowing you to engage with and be aware of your environment. This means you can use your Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700 virtually anywhere you want while in complete control over what you do and do not hear. Pretty neat.
Since you can now go anywhere, a built in adaptive four-microphone system automatically adjusts to your environment, isolating your voice from external noises so that you can confidently take a call or talk to your voice assistant. Bose also worked closely with key partners to build wake-up word support right into the headphones. Simply speak the awake word, and your assistant responds.
Ok…I admit that I had no idea as to what this feature was when I first read about the headphones. AR stands for augmented reality, and the Bose AR is a new technology that uses a combination of sensors built into the Headphones 700 to superimpose sound on top of the real world. The headphones combine information from these built in sensors with information from your phone (think GPS) to provide audio feedback about your surroundings. This is brand new tech, and it's still evolving. Currently there are a handful of apps that support the feature, but Bose is working hard to mature the system.
So you may be wondering how the Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700 sound; after all, sound is their number one job. I am happy to report that the headphones sound fantastic. Thanks in a large part to brand new drivers, the Headphones 700 deliver crisp, clean sound at every volume level. You can clearly hear every instrument in your music, and the bass never gets muddy. These are a wonderful pair of headphones, and I would not hesitate to recommend trying them out. We hope that you love this Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700 post. Happy shopping!
