Classic Blueberry Pancakes
Classic Blueberry Pancakes This year is all about little changes for me and my family. We are all trying to eat healthier and one way we are doing is by getting as much fresh...
One of my earliest memories is waking up on Saturday mornings to the irresistible aroma of my mother's pancakes wafting through the house. It was a cherished tradition in our family, and it's no wonder that pancakes became my ultimate breakfast comfort food. They bring back warm memories of family gatherings, and let's be honest, they're simply delicious.
Fast forward to having my own family, and I found myself continuing the tradition of weekend pancakes, just like Mom did. However, the idea of adding banana and Nutella to the mix never even crossed my mind. That's where my middle child comes in! In her eyes, banana and Nutella are the ultimate flavor power couple. So, when she suggested making pancakes with these ingredients, I was more than willing to experiment.
The result? This incredible recipe! I present to you our very own Banana Nutella Pancakes!
Whisk all of the dry ingredients together in a large bowl. Set aside.
Whisk all of the wet ingredients EXCEPT the Nutella together in a separate bowl.
Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and slowly add the wet ingredients, whisking until combined. Do not over mix.
Remove 1/2 cup of batter and mix with the Nutella in a separate bowl. Swirl the Nutella batter into the regular batter.
Let the batter rest without stirring it for about 15 minutes. We are giving the baking powder time to do its thing here.
First, heat a large nonstick pan over medium flame. Once the pan is hot, lightly spray it with cooking spray. Next, measure out ΒΌ cup portions of batter for each pancake and pour them onto the pan. As the edges of the pancakes begin to dry and small bubbles appear on the surface, it's time to flip them. After cooking for another 2-3 minutes, the pancakes should be golden brown and cooked through. Finally, serve them immediately and rinse and repeat with the remaining batter.
Heat a saute pan over a medium flame. Melt the butter. Add the bananas and cook until they begin to color.
After adding the syrup, cook for another 30 seconds. Then, remove from the flame.
Pour your banana syrup mixture over a stack of Nutella pancakes. Boom! You have now successfully made the Banana Nutella Pancakes Recipe. Now go eat before everything gets cold. And if you enjoyed the recipe, check out our Pink Spongecake Pancake Recipe. Happy eating!
