The Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center is located in Nashville, Tennessee. Formerly known as the ‘Opryland Hotel', the Gaylord Resort operated by Marriott International is proud to be the largest non-casino hotel in the United States outside of Las Vegas, equipped with over 3,000 rooms for guests and visitors.
In 2001, the Opryland Hotel in Nashville decided to change its name to the Gaylord Resort & Convention Center, known by most insiders today as simply the ‘Gaylord Opryland'. Named in honor of the bootstrapping billionaire businessman Edward Gaylord, who once owned the Grand Ole Opry, the Gaylord Opryland now welcomes tens of thousands of satisfied guests every year.
All Marriott hotel properties worldwide are smoke-free. The Gaylord Opryland currently has 2,711 guest rooms and a total of 171 suites for visitors to choose from. Singles, doubles and group rates are available. All beds in the guest rooms are designed for maximum comfort, using a pillow-top mattress and soft, fluffy pillow to enhance relaxation and encourage a better night's sleep. Every guest room at the Gaylord Opryland comes with a complete tea and coffee service, as well as a modern mini-refrigerator. The Gaylord Opryland is proud to offer all of their guests complimentary free wireless internet in every room and public area of the resort in Nashville.
Guests at the Gaylord Opryland can indulge in the wonderful sport of golf by playing a full round of 18 holes on the Gaylord Springs Golf Links. Following the gentle banks of the Cumberland River, the Gaylord Springs Golf Links features a full 18 holes of par-72 Scottish-style golfing terrain surrounded by acres of federally protected wetlands.
All guests of the Gaylord Opryland can access the modern fitness center, which contains a full array of advanced cardiovascular workout equipment. Fitness enthusiasts can cool down afterwards by unwinding in the richly-appointed sauna.
The Gaylord Opryland is proud to offer all of their guests access to the Relâche Spa & Salon. Although an appointment is required, the many therapeutic and relaxation services make every visit to the Relâche Spa & Salon worthwhile.
Some of the services offered at the spa:
Note: to promote maximum discretion, the Gaylord Opryland offers separate men's and women's lounges for visitors to the Relâche Spa & Salon.
The Cascades Outdoor Pool allows even beginning splashers to enjoy aquatic activities in the summertime. With an included children's pool featuring heated water, the entire family can catch some rays while relaxing in and around the water. A second outdoor pool, known as the Magnolia Outdoor Pool, features heated water as well. Towels are provided free of charge for all guests at the pools.
Country music fans around the world know that the Grand Ole Opry broadcasts on 650AM, using the legendary call sign WSM. Today, visitors to the Gaylord Opryland resort and casino can enjoy unparalleled radio reception of this American audio treasure.
Visitors to the Gaylord Opryland have a wide range of fine dining options to choose from, with enough fresh local tastes to satisfy even the most demanding palettes.
Old Hickory Steakhouse – Although reservations are required, it is worth it for anyone in your party who fancies Black Angus beef seared to absolute perfection. An extensive wine list and full menu satisfy even the hungriest of visitors to Nashville.
Ravello – Mama mia, Italian food doesn't get more authentic and delicious than the homemade pasta served every day in the beautiful garden setting of Ravello.
