Creamy Baked Asiago Chicken Recipe
Can we just agree that creamy chicken is pretty much the best thing one can make for dinner? I mean you have the juicy chicken, the creamy sauce and then the melty cheesy glory. This Creamy Baked Asiago Chicken Recipe has all of those things perfectly baked together. To say this is delicious is an understatement. Seriously though, I found myself making this recipe again and again, this past week. Part of it was testing the recipe, I always want to make sure the result is flawless, the other part however, was because I found myself craving it every day! Yes, that's how good it is.
The great thing is that it's incredibly easy to make, there aren't a lot of complicated steps or a difficult to follow prep. You just need a couple of basics and a little of oven time to make this Creamy Baked Asiago Chicken recipe.
To make the sauce I use heavy cream, garlic powder, salt and pepper and oregano. And then obviously a generous couple of cups of Asiago cheese (this is one of those cases where the more the better). Then I just mix everything together in a saucepan and pour it all over the chicken.
Then it's just a matter of taking it to the oven and letting the chicken mingle with the sauce and the cheese and the spices for around 30 minutes. You can then serve it like that or add a bit of shredded parmesan cheese on top just to take the cheese factor to the next level.
This Creamy Baked Asiago Chicken recipe goes deliciously well served with risotto and asparagus, on top of pasta or even filling a great sandwich made with crusty bread, fresh tomatoes, lettuce, and one or two slices of bacon.
