Driving the 2022 Lexus NX Hybrid Electric Vehicle

The vehicle offers four drive modes for the driver to choose from: Self-Charge mode, HEV mode, AUTO EV/HEV mode, and EV mode. In EV mode, the 2022 Lexus NX 450h+ can operate solely on electricity from the traction battery, resulting in zero CO2 emissions. AUTO HV/EV mode intelligently selects the optimal drive mode—hybrid or pure electric—based on factors like remaining battery charge, traction conditions, route details, and other relevant data.

When the Lexus vehicle is in the HV mode, it uses both electricity and gasoline, making the performance car more powerful. When the vehicle is set in the self-charge mode, the battery charges itself using the engine's power.
