The all new 2017 Kia Sorento is the most up to date line of vehicles made by Kia and a new addition to the Sorento models as a crossover SUV type. The newer version has had some changes added to it, mainly by adding more smartphone capabilities, one of them including Apple CarPlay and Android Auto functions. Better headlights and automatic emergency braking systems are another new feature that has been added to the recent model. We hope that you enjoy our 2017 Kia Sorento Review.
The overall performance of the new 2017 Kia Sorento vehicle is quite similar to how the previous models have been designed over the years. For instance, the Sorento has a 6-speed shiftable automatic transmission and a front wheel drive train to keep it balanced when on the road. The engine contains inline 4 cylinders, though may also be fitted for V6 and can generate between a 185 and 290 horsepower rating while riding along at 6,000 wheel revolutions per minute. It can also generate between 178 and 260 feet per pounds of total torque. As far as the fuel economy goes, the crossover SUV runs on regular unleaded gasoline and has 24 combined miles per gallon as a rating, with 21 MPGs when on the city and 28 on the highway.
Performance is not the only thing that will attract more people to the new 2017 Kia Sorento. The special interior features have also been changed and re-formatted for future drivers. Many of the features are made for the comfort of the driver and passengers, starting with the fact that the SUV can hold a total of five people, though other models can hold up to seven of them. Cruise control is one of the standard features that comes installed into the vehicle.
The cruise control settings, along with the audio settings, are all mounted onto the steering wheel, which comes with its own electric power steering capability. Air conditioning is a pretty standard feature, though some models also have climate control and interior air filtration added into the mix. The front seats are built in as bucket seats and the driver's seat is completely height adjustable.
Safety is always an important aspect, whether it's a Kia or any other crossover SUV. Child passengers require the most safety and this takes the form of installed child seating anchors and rear door child safety locks. We love the emergency braking assist feature in the vehicle which pairs well with the stability and traction control added into the mix. Even better, a remote anti-theft alarm system is also included in the event that someone tries to illegally enter or cause damage to the vehicle.
The 2017 Kia Sorento is a solid choice for your next vehicle and all of extras makes this car feel upgraded plus it handles beautifully when driving. We hope that you enjoyed our 2017 Kia Sorento Review. There is a reason that they call it the Perfect Getaway Vehicle.
