Blueberry Mint Mojito RecipeBlueberry Mint Mojito Recipe

Mojito’s tend to be one of my go-to drinks no matter where I travel in the world. There is just something so fresh about a mojito that leaves me craving one whenever I am asked, “What can I make for you?” This Blueberry Mint Mojito Recipe does not disappoint and is made even better with all fresh ingredients.
Blueberry and mint is such a delicious flavor combination, it makes perfect sense to add blueberries to a minty mojito. In this recipe you’ll muddle blueberries in the bottom of a glass with a few mint leaves, then build a basic mojito on top. If fresh blueberries aren’t available, frozen berries will work in their absence.

Blueberry Mint Mojito Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh or frozen blueberries
  • ice as needed
  • 4 shots rum
  • simple syrup
  • soda water as needed
  • fresh mint leaves
  • 3 limes, quartered

Blueberry Mint Mojito RecipeDirections

  1. Divide the blueberries with 2 mint leaves (for each glass) among four glasses. Crush the berries in the bottom of the glasses until well-mashed.
  2. Fill the four glasses with ice, then add one shot of rum in each plus 1 tablespoon of simple syrup. NOTE: I prefer a less sweet drink so I don’t add simple syrup to my drink. However, traditional mojito has sweetener in it even if it is just sugar.
  3. Top each glass with soda water, then garnish with mint and lime. Stir to combine, then serve.
