Orlando has long been a destination for exciting family fun. One of the newest additions to the Orlando area is Wild Florida. This park is the perfect choice for those looking for a day of activity with the family. Attraction at the park include airboat rides, a wildlife park and a number of dining options. From exploring the wildlife park and taking an exciting airboat ride to attending events and bringing home a souvenir, visitors will experience hours of adventure and get a sense of what Florida was like centuries ago. What can visitors expect when visiting Wild Florida? Read on to find out:
One offering of the park is an airboat ride. The park is situated on a nature preserve, and in this preserve are thousands of acres of swamp, marshes and rivers that make up the central Florida Everglades. In these waters, visitors will encounter wildlife up close and personal including large birds, gorgeous plants, tall ancient trees and of course alligators in their natural habitat. Options include a half hour ride, an hour ride, a private ride and even the option of a nighttime airboat experience. All airboat rides also come with admission to the wildlife park.
The wildlife park will give visitors a special opportunity to see Florida's resident wildlife in their natural habitat. The wildlife park features a hands-on alligator experience and visitors will see a number of exotic creatures such as zebras, zebu, water buffalo and emu among others. There is a long 500 foot sightseeing deck where visitors can observe the swamp and take in spectacular views they won't see anywhere else. In addition to this, there is an interactive tortoise exhibit, a bird aviary and a gator platform where visitors can see huge alligators and even have a chance to feed them. There is also a family of whitetail deer that visitors can interact with when visiting the park.
One of the newest features of the park is the brand new Pete & Pegs Silver Platter Bar B-Q. This restaurant serves up a number of Florida barbecue favorites including smoked chicken, ribs, pulled pork, gator tail, sweet potato fries and frog legs. Visitors will be able to dine at the lakeside and cool off with some sweet tea or an Italian ice.
A visit to this wildlife park is the perfect choice for those who are looking to leave the hustle and bustle of the greater Orlando area. Bring the family and settle in for an experience that you certainly won't find at any other local theme park. See Florida as you have never seen it before when you visit Wild Florida.

Experience Kissimmee invited me on an all-expenses paid press trip to Kissimmee Florida for the #RockYourVacation FAM Tour. All opinions are my own. Photos courtesy of Wild Florida Airboat Tour & Wildlife Park.
Love the nature and this looks pretty cool! I think the airboat tour would be really fun especially when you encounter all the different animals!
Doing one of those airboat tours has been on my bucketlist for a long time. I am dying to go on one.
I have always wanted to do one of these! I have never been on an airboat, but they always looked like a lot of fun! I hope the next time I get down to Florida I can go on one of these!
The wildlife park would be amazing to see. I have always wanted to go on a Airboat. I will have to try to check it out the next time I am in the area.
This is such a cool way to experience the wildlife of Florida. I could definitely do with a Florida trip to a place like this!
One of my goals before I die is to ride as many different kinds of transportation as possible. This one, the air boat, was one I checked off about 10 years ago. Wasn’t it great fun?
I have always wanted to ride on one of those air boats. This looks like a really fun tour.
I go up to Kissimmee every few month to visit my SIL and MIL so this will be a great little outing for the family next time I go up. That gator looks huge – wow! The kids would love to see that.
Oh my goodness would I love to see palm trees, and alligators. I think it would be super cool!
This sounds like quite the place to visit. An airboat tour would be so much fun.
The closest thing I’ve done is going on a gator tour in Louisiana when I was a kid. Looks like so much fun for the whole family.
Oh how cool does this look??!! We will be in the area in the spring, I need to keep this in mind because my kids will love it!
