  1. Line your baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. If you have a melting pot, you can use it to heat one of the chocolates and melt the other using a microwave or double boiler on the stove.
  3. Add ¾ cup of chopped hazelnuts to the melted milk chocolate and mix in. If you want your bark to have a peppermint flavor, mix in the mint extract now.
  4. Pour melted milk chocolate, with hazelnuts mixed in, out onto the parchment paper. Use a spatula to spread out the chocolate. Immediately pour melted white chocolate over the top of the milk chocolate in straight lines.
  5. Use a butter knife to mix white chocolate into the milk chocolate in circular motions. Doing this in circles will create the marbled effect that you are going for.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining ¼ cup of crushed hazelnuts over the top of the bark so that it hardens into the chocolate. Place baking sheet in the fridge for 1 hour until it has completely hardened.
  7. Break hazelnut bark into large pieces and put out to enjoy. Bark can last for up to one week in an airtight container.
