I only have a dog because I am wicked allergic to cats, but no matter what pet people have, they all end up playing their own roles in the family!
I have 6 cats… and have done out of pocket rescue for 20 yeaars. I do TNR and socialize kittens or rehan the stray housecats and find them homes. The cats I have as my own were usually too medically needy or behaviorly wouldnt make good pets and couldnt be released to the colony.

Hahaha–this is the perfect time to ask that question—right now,my two cats are running back and forth, up and down across the bed, the chair, the couch chasing…they are either chasing each other or something invisible . The best thing about owning cats is that they are fun companions…for someone with a particular sense of humor 🙂
I don’t know that there’s any one thing. Cats are exquisite creatures that can soothe you, make you laugh and add a lot of life to your home.

I love the jug for cat littler. I haven’t seen it yet in stores, but we use the litter in the cardboard boxes and it’s so hard to get the last of the litter out (and then to recycle the box is more difficult!)
I love my cats but I hate dealing with their litter. It is so heavy! I really need to try this because I am sure my arthritic hands would much prefer it.

The best part of being owned by a cat is seeing him, touching him, talking to him, playing with him, taking care of him; in essence, everything involved in spending one’s life with a cat is wonderful!
Our cat is a 2 year old tortie, she is just so affectionate. We also have 2 dogs and it is so sweet to see all 3 of them laying in the living room, so many picture opps.

I have 3 cats that are gracious enough to let the dog and I live with them. They have me trained very well. I feed them on command, I hold the door for as long as it takes them to come in or go out, and I clean up after their messes. The dog on the other hand doesn’t listen to them so well.
I love the affection and companionship my cats give me. They are both rescue cats and I feel like they know that I saved them and reward me with love every day.

I love that my four cats are lap warmers. They can cheer me up on a bad day with their antics.
I’m currently sitting in bed surrounded by three sleeping cats. All of the cuddles are one of my favorite parts of living with these guys!
