My kids are extremely excited about the Teenage Ninja Mutant Turtles movie coming out soon. One of the things that I love about the TMNT is the brotherhood bond that they have. Together they make a group, have this great team bond, they know that family is important and they are heroes. I enjoyed watching TMNT as a child and I love that my children love watching them now.
You and your kids will enjoy the movie as it is fun and light hearted. The TMNT want to belong to this world so they do what they can to belong. Kids and adults alike will love that they each have their own personality, characteristics and traits that mirror their choices of weapons. They are pretty fun characters!
As the mother of three and with a husband who owns a pizza restaurant, my kids are all about the pizza so when the TMNT eat pizza, it is definitely something that we can all relate to.
And what kid doesn't think that they have amazing ninja skills or would at least like to? All three of my kids took karate and they still love practicing their moves. Two of my kids are skateboarders so they are always wanting to want other people skateboard.
The city needs heroes. Darkness has settled over New York City as Shredder and his evil Foot Clan have an iron grip on everything from the police to the politicians. The future is grim until four unlikely outcast brothers rise from the sewers and discover their destiny as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The Turtles must work with fearless reporter April O’Neil (Megan Fox) and her wise-cracking cameraman Vern Fenwick (Will Arnett) to save the city and unravel Shredder’s diabolical plan. Based on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Characters Created by PETER LAIRD and KEVIN EASTMAN with a Screenplay by JOSH APPELBAUM & ANDRÉ NEMEC and EVAN DAUGHERTY, Producer MICHAEL BAY (the blockbuster Transformers franchise) and director JONATHAN LIEBESMAN (Wrath of the Titans) bring Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, the popular franchise that has captivated audiences of all ages for decades, into the 21st century.
