Pedigree Wet Dog Food

Pedigree Wet Dog Food

I am participating in the Pedigree Ambassador dog food trial with Mom Central. For the next six weeks, my dog will be transitioning to the new recipe of Pedigree. Pedigree dog food is what my dog eats in this household. My dog  Buckley has eaten Pedigree for years. He loves it. Pedigree has always symbolized quality and is something that I feel proud to serve my dog. There are several lines of Pedigree wet dog food, each formulated for different dog needs and preferences. Below we've shared a rundown of some of the most popular Pedigree wet dog foods. We hope that this Pedigree Wet Dog Food post inspires you.

Pedigree Chopped Ground Dinner

Pedigree Chopped Ground Dinner

The new Pedigree dog food arrived just the other day. The food looks the same as the food we currently have although I did notice a little difference in the bag. My dog had no problem digging into the food the moment we set it out for him. Although we are only a few days into the transition to the new recipe, it appears that my dog is having an easy time making the switch. I was sent some initial criteria on which to assess my dog. The criteria are:

  • Skin and coat (dull and flaky, average, shiny, and soft): Buckley has an average coat. Although he has been getting up there for years, we have always fed him good dog food without a lot of fillers.
  • Oral Care (dirty, average, pearly white): His oral care is about average. While his teeth are not pearly white like when he was a puppy, they are still in pretty good shape.
  • Digestion (number of stools per day and quality): Buckley has no digestion problems at all. He goes out regularly.
  • Immunity (how often does your pup get sick?): Buckley hardly ever gets sick. I cannot remember the last time he was sick.

Keep this in mind when choosing a wet dog food

  • Nutritional value: Make sure the wet dog food you choose is complete and balanced and meets all of your dog's nutritional needs.
  • Ingredients: Look for wet dog food made with high-quality ingredients, such as real meat, fruits, and vegetables. Avoid foods that contain artificial flavors, colors, or preservatives.
  • Palatability: Choose a wet dog food that your dog enjoys eating.
  • Price: Wet dog food can vary in price, so compare prices before making a purchase.
  • Your dog's age and life stage: Pedigree offers wet dog food products for puppies, adult dogs, and senior dogs.
  • Your dog's breed: Some Pedigree wet dog food products are formulated for specific breeds of dogs.
  • Your dog's activity level: More active dogs may need a higher-calorie wet dog food than less active dogs.
  • Your dog's dietary restrictions: If your dog has any dietary restrictions, be sure to choose a wet dog food that is appropriate for their needs.

October is Adopt a Shelter Dog Month

Pedigree wet dog food is a good source of protein, vitamins, and minerals. It is also relatively affordable, making it a popular choice for many dog owners. When choosing a wet dog food for your dog, it is important to consider your dog's age, breed, and activity level. You should also talk to your veterinarian to get their recommendations. I would recommend the new Pedigree recipe to my friends and family. We hope that this Pedigree Wet Dog Food post inspires you. Good luck!

We are just trying this brand now for our little Yorkie. The canned puppyfood he says is BRAVISIMO! (He is a picky little stinker and so nice to find one he really loves!)
