Wood burning is something that I have recently tried and I am absolutely loving the results. For years, I never attempted wood burning because it just seems like so much and I honestly wasn't sure if my efforts would be worth it. I remember doing this craft many many years ago. I think the forst time I tried it was in Girl Scouts. I am sure the tools have changed a bit, bu the technique would be much the same. I always felt the trick was getting the right touch so as not to overburn or underburn. It is a fun and easy craft, but for kids supervision is needed.

I remember seeing wood burning kits in the craft stores when I was a kid but they didn’t produce anything as beautiful as this.
I have always been amazed at the wood burning art. It always looks like magic!
