How to Create the Perfect Holiday Toast
As the consummate entertainer, I absolutely love planning events and inviting people into my home. I love hosting events out in the community as well. It is that connection that happens when people get together that I love most of all. It really makes planning a great event essential.
I'd like to think that is one of my top skills as a human being. I am a natural born connector. The idea of introducing a person to another when they might really have something in commonI have created friendships with a lot of people over the years.
This holiday season I am going to Bring the Sparkle as we share some of our favorite tips and tricks for hosting the perfect party. We present you with these tips on How to Create the Perfect Holiday Toast.
How to Create the Perfect Holiday Toast
Stand up and face your guests or audience.
Standing up in front of everyone gets attention and is a sign of respect. Wait for a few moments and then raise your glass when you are ready to begin speaking. Speak loudly and/or project your voice to fit the room.
Be brief. Be gracious. Be thankful.
Try to limit your toast to 45 seconds or less. Write it down or keep it on your phone for handy reference.

When in doubt…
Finally, when in doubt make this or something similar the screensaver on your phone. Super simple to use in case words escape you!
“May the saddest day of your future be no worse than the happiest day of your past'
“May neighbors respect you,
Trouble neglect you,
The angels protect you,
And heaven accept you.”
“May you have the hindsight to know where you've been,
The foresight to know where you are going,
And the insight to know when you have gone too far.”
