Culturelle for Kids – Probiotics Promoting Digestion

Have you heard of Culturelle for Kids? What about Probiotics?

Have you ever wondered what exactly a probiotic is? Probiotics have become a hot topic, generating tons of buzz and puzzlement about the different types of bacteria found in our digestive systems and their impact when it comes to stomach pain, digestive relief and supporting overall immunity.

When good bacteria get added and allowed to multiply, they help replace the “bad” bacteria – and thus probiotics have been connected to overall digestive health and supporting the immune system.

Pro-bi-o-tic. The word literally means “for life.” And adding a probiotic like Culturelle to your daily diet can be a great way to achieve and maintain optimal core health – a healthy digestive and immune system.

Just one Culturelle capsule daily helps support your body in the following ways:

  • Promotes good digestion
  • Maintains regularity
  • Supports your immune system
  • Helps to return you to optimal health

Culturelle for Kids contains Lactobacillus GG, one of the most clinically studied probiotic, or “good bacteria”, in the world. The good bacteria safely and naturally displace the bad bacteria, supporting kids’ natural defense systems, and reducing digestive upset.

Culturelle's LGG probiotic has been extensively studied for safety in children of all ages, including neonatal and infants, and those studies have proven that Culturelle given to children:

Supports their still-developing immune system*

May help reduce upset stomach*

Helps to reduce occasional diarrhea*

Helps reduce the length and severity of antibiotic-associated diarrhea*

To use, simply empty entire contents of 1 packet into cool food or drink. Culturelle is completely tasteless and odorless.

I didnt know Probiotic meant for life…guess it does make sense when taking the word apart.
I use this daily for immune dysfunction from CFS and Lyme. I know when going to a wellness center they really recommend this for kids who have WAY too much sugar and carbs in their diets and breaks the balance of bacteria in the body . Does this also guard against yeast overgrowth too?

I see this one is dairy free and “all natural”. Thanks for the info…I have a different brand here but will consider trying this one.

I can’t recommend Culturelle highly enough and the kids’ version is just as great as the adult capsules. Thanks for the review.

I have been taking Culturelle for years. Before it went mass-market, you had to call and order it or get it from your doctor. But it’s the same fomula. I notice a real difference when I’m taking it and when I’m out of it. My stomach does not get upset and if it is upset, this will greatly lessen the upset.

I originally took this because of my fibromyalgia and immune system weakness, but it has proven to be great for so many things. I have my whole family taking it now.

I have mostly gotten my probiotics in other forms- yogurts etc. I have never tried the pills nor the add ins.
I really dont notice alot of difference when taking the probiotics- maybe because I generally eat non processed foods?
I am really leery about giving anything like this to small children… so on this one would wait a bit to see more research. With some of this stuff, we rush to try it thinking we are doing a favor, and it upsets things happening naturally especially in healthy adults/children.
I have enough medically going on that it could be a benefit, but if someone is healthy, some additional supplements arent needed.
