You might have seen our review last month of the ASUS MeMO Pad Tablet. This tablet is most definitely on the economical end of tablets but also has many uses.

We find that we use the tablet mostly in the kitchen for cooking and entertaining the kids while we are cooking. I can easily pull up an recipe I need and display the recipe on screen while following along with my cooking. My husband was not a big fan of the 7 inch screen but I thought that it was fine for what we use the tablet for.The kids love the tablet and have put many of their games on it.

This tablet also good to use as an ereader. Books were easy to read and I could read at night without disturbing my husband. We were also able to add some music to it which made the kids want to play with it even more.

As a general purpose tablet and for our uses, this is a reasonably priced tablet. We could read, use to display recipes while we are cooking and the kids could play all of their games on it. This would be a good purchase for a younger child or an older adult who has basic needs when it comes to tablets.
