2012 Honda CR V Review
2012 Honda CR V Reviews Several weeks ago, I headed to California to check out the newly re-designed Honda CR-V for 2012. Now I have previously owned a Honda. Back in the 80's, I...
I am constantly in the car. With three school-aged children, there are birthday parties, playdates, activities, sports and school. There is always something.
We take many road trips every year with the entire family. Yes, that's right. All five (or four in some cases) of us pile into one of the family cars and drive to some kid-friendly destination.
We are also always planning our next road trip. We travel to Disney in Orlando, Florida (about 7 hours away) several times each year. We also visit relatives in North Carolina.
I need to feel taken care of when it comes to driving. You never know what can happen when you are on the road so much. I definitely need peace of mind as I am the sole parent on many of the road trips we take. I have a lot more schedule flexibility than my husband so unfortunately, he misses some of our road trips.
Did you know that there are over 52 million households that pay annual fees for roadside assistance, but the average driver uses their service only once every three years? Why are you wasting money?
There is this cool, new service from Allstate. The Good Hands Roadside Assistance gives peace of mind while letting you pay for the service only as you need it and when you need it.
The costs are reasonable: in most cases just $75 per tow and $50 per other service.
The many benefits of Good Hands Roadside Assistance including:
* You do not need to have Allstate insurance to use this service
* You only pay when you use it, there are no monthly fees
* Pre-registering for Good Hands Roadside Assistance provides faster service at time of need on the road. Those that pre-register will also receive a welcome kit in the mail containing a wallet card, key fob and window cling with the phone number for roadside help.
* You can register for up to 5 users on your account
You should consider checking out this new service. This is seriously something that every parent needs. Definitely something that every parent can use.
Can you imagine the peace of mind I will have on road trips because of the Good Hands Roadside Assistance? Even my husband will feel better about knowing that we will be taken care of when he cannot be there. I cannot wait to travel again.

I’m not sure what service we have now…I should ask hubby. Thanks for the info!
I love the thought of only paying for something if I use it! Thanks for sharing.
I’m one of those who pays regardless of whether I’ve been using it or not. Maybe I need to do some thinking…
I love that you only pay when you need it. That saves A LOT of $$ over the course of a year.
This is a pretty good deal and something to consider. I just realized that we don’t currently have any roadside assistance. Thanks for the info and the reminder!
There’s certainly a lot to learn about this subject.
I really like all the points you’ve made.
