Toshiba Encore Mini Tablet Review
Toshiba Encore Mini Tablet is small, portable, and lightweight. It measures 10.2 x 6.9 x 0.35 inches, has a .43 inch profile, and weighs 12.5 ounces.
The 7-inch multi-touch display features 1024 x 600 resolution and LED backlit screen. Its interface is intuitive and straightforward. The 16:9 aspect ratio and Mobile Intel HD graphics are optimal for photo display, movie viewing, and web browsing.
The handheld tablet utilizes a quad-core Intel® Atom™ processor, giving it a long-lasting battery life of up to 7.3 hours on a single charge. The 1.83GHz processor runs Windows 8.1 and comes with a personal one-year subscription to Office 365.
SHARING YOUR TABLET
Different users can establish separate accounts on the same device, allowing for privacy with the Toshiba Encore Mini Tablet. The familiar Windows Desktop mode with mouse and keyboard is available, so owners don't need to learn new systems. Windows' modern Start screen with multitasking snap is also included. The mini tablet can be synced to any PC by using a Microsoft account, so users can keep apps, settings, and layouts consistent over many devices. Set up with Bing for internet searches, it also features a Digital Compass for accurate location information.
STAYING CONNECTED
The Toshiba Encore Mini Tablet connects to home networks or hotspots with Wi-Fi (802.11n) and Bluetooth® v4.0. The tablet's dependable, quick Wi-Fi® performance allows for fast web browsing, content streaming, or downloads. Even while the system is in standby mode, it is kept secure and current: InstantGo technology will continually update the device regardless of its mode.
The tablet includes a 2 megapixel camera, a front .3 megapixel webcam, and a microphone for photo and video capture. It has a 3.5mm jack for connections to speakers, headphones, and other audio devices.
It is equipped with a Micro USB 2.0 port, a microSD™ Card slot supporting 128GB SDXC cards, 16 GB of internal storage, and 1GB RAM for brisk multitasking. This internal and external memory capacity means that users can store many apps, digital files, games, pictures, and videos. The USB port also allows users to connect to printers or other mobile devices.
The Toshiba Encore™ Mini Tablet comes with a standard one year limited warranty.

This looks like a nifty little tablet. I still gonestly am not used to seeing Windows 8 and do wish it would get away from the tiles and fo back to the normal windows. What I allways wondered is it comes with IE how do you get chrome or a better browser on it.
