Find Out the ways to Save on Summer Fun

The days are longer in the summer… and when boredom sets in they can seem extra loooooooong. Luckily, it’s easy to add some excitement to a hum-dry day with your favorite ice cream treats- and even easier to hit the road in search of more summer fun.

Entertaining the kids is always tough for me during the summer. They get bored easily and I am always looking for some fun ways to keep them entertained.

Elevating Your Summer Entertainment

1. Find free concerts or festivals near you.

We love discovering new things going on in our area. They have a big arts festival with an entire section that is just for kids including free art supplies where they can create their own masterpieces.

2. Free movies or dollar movie theaters

The city we live in has free movies once a week during the summer. We also love the dollar theater where we can see movies for just a few dollars.

3. Library

There is always something going on at our local library. From free author readings to movie nights.

4. Season passes

If you plan to visit somewhere many times during the summer, it is always worth it to see how much a season pass is. You will almost always save money with a season pass than individual visits.
