Raspberry Grapefruit Refresher Recipe

Raspberry Grapefruit Mojito Recipe Captain Morgan Rum
We are back with another fun beverage recipe. This time it’s the Raspberry Grapefruit Refresher Recipe. I love nothing more than a cool cocktail on a hot summer day and anything made with rum is fine by me. My favorite rum is Captain Morgan and they just came out with three new flavors that are amazing. We have tried all three flavors and my husband is quite a fan of mixing them all together.
A few weeks ago, we made this delicious Pineapple Mojito with Pineapple Rum from Captain Morgan. This time we are back with another fun rum recipe because Captain Morgan then sent me another bottle to participate in their Memorial Day Contest. The recipe below is our submission and it is one of our new favorite recipes.
Raspberry Grapefruit Mojito Recipe Captain Morgan Rum

Perfect for hot summer days, this easy raspberry and grapefruit refresher will quickly become your drink of choice. The mint and soda makes this drink so refreshing and delicious. It’s ideal during the warmer months plus the colors are festive for holidays and more. Try this recipe, and it may be your favorite drink year-round.

  • 3 cups fresh raspberries
  • ice as needed
  • 4 shots of Captain Morgan Grapefruit Rum
  • soda water as needed
  • mint to garnish
  • 3 limes, quartered

  1. Divide the fresh raspberries between four glasses, then mash them lightly to extract some of their juices.
  2. Fill each glass with ice, then pour one shot of rum in each.
  3. Top with soda water, garnish with mint and lime quarters, then serve.

PLEASE NOTE: You can skip the rum and add grapefruit juice in place of the alcohol. It tastes great both ways. I also like to substitute Sprite sometimes for the soda water when I am in the mood for a sweeter drink. This is the perfect Raspberry Grapefruit Mojito Recipe.

I had no idea Captain Morgan came in those flavors! In college I’d add Captain Morgan’s Spiced Rum to Cola and it made it taste like Dr. Pepper. I’ve also used it in Egg Nog – makes it awesome!
