Fall is my absolute favorite time of year. My birthday is in the fall. I got married in the fall. In fact, my entire family loves the fall.

I am certain that my kids love the fall because of Halloween and honestly that is part of the reason I like fall as well. The leaves change, pumpkins and candy can be found everywhere plus there are lots of parties & events.

#HalloweenHangout LogosWe recently held our very own Halloween Hangout at our house. We were sent several items from Personalized Creations, ProFlowers and Shari’s Berries that had a Halloween or fall theme. My family and friends had such a great time.

My favorite memory is the Halloween party we would have at my grandmas house. We would play drop the cloths pin in the jar, cotton ball toss (not as easy as it sounds), and pin the nose on the pumpkin. And if Halloween fell on a Sunday we would go trick or treating in her neighborhood. There was always 1 house that gave out King Size candy Bars (and they still do today)

My favorite Halloween memory (of recent memory) is 4 years ago when my brother and I were handing out candy and he was being silly and talking in a totally Southern redneck accent and saying goofy things to the people coming up for candy. To be fair, we were in West Texas, it was just way more exaggerated than his normal Southern accent.

We never really trick-or-treated when I was younger but I remember one of the few times we went we were lucky enough to run into a few houses who forgot candy so they gave us money instead. I think I made $10 that night.
