Wordless Wednesday – Viva Nash Vegas
We are in Nashville for a conference / retreat that we attend every year. Each year is a different city and this is probably the 9th or 10th conference we have attended. Last night's...
We love going to this place to feed the geese, ducks and fish. The kids just have the best time.
Today we had a special surprise! Check out the goose egg. Seeing the beginning of a new life was just so exciting. And uplifting. All of the geese were so protective.

Oh that would have been soooo neat to see!!
It really was!
Oh wow-I’m surprised you guys got that close! Usually geese are pretty mean when nesting.
Very awesome pictures!
I know. They were getting a little antsy the closer we got. But they are pretty friendly geese overall.
Wow! That is very cool! I know you kids must have just flipped out when they saw that egg! (I probably would have too!)
Thanks for the linky! Keep us posted on that egg! 🙂
I saw the egg first and I was so excited. IT WAS HUGE!!
I loved going to the duck pond near my house when I was ten years old.
This is such a fun thing to do as a family!!
Great photos! I loved feeding the duck and geese with my children when they were younger. Those geese can be pretty scary when they’re being territorial.
They do get scary. My little one goes running a lot but these geese are well fed and pretty nice!
Gorgeous photo, that 2nd to the last one, NICE calm water!
Thanks Candy!
That’s SO cool, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a goose egg!
This is the first egg that I have ever seen!!
Beautiful set of photos. I love watching the birds returning to their nesting grounds each year – and see the next generation start in life. How lovely that the children will also get to see it all.
Me too Marie. We also have a pond next door to our house where we go all of the time.
That must have been pretty cool for your kids to see!
It was so cool. They are still excited about it!!
