Wordless Wednesday – The Hairbow Queen
My four year old daughter dresses herself everyday and flat out refuses any help. This is how we went to breakfast over the weekend. I am sure that you can imagine how many people...
We are defintiely raising little foodies. My children love to cook as much as we do and they love helping us come up with new ideas for dinner.
This past weekend we went to the Farmer's Market to do some research and to get some dinner inspiration. We can and have spent hours in this place.
Where else can you buy a pinata, caviar and beef tongue all in one place?

Wow. There are some interesting foods there!
I know. There are so many things that I have never heard of.
Please tell me you didn’t buy the tongue?!?!
Oh gosh no. It grossed me out to look at it. 🙂
That big squash is CRAZY! Yummy at the caviar though 🙂
That place looks amazing and you got some really fun shots! I would so spend hours and hours there too 🙂 My Gramma N. used to make pickled cow tongue ALL the time – ugh.
First of all, I could eat your kids up! Secondly, we love the farmer’s market! So blessed to have a farm in our back yard as well.
Would you believe that my husband HATES farmer’s markets?
Love all of the bright bold colors of the veggies. Drop by and link up at our #WW if you have a chance.
Awesome shots…love the farmer’s market though ours is nowhere near as awesome as that one!
That’s great! Our farmer’s market doesn’t open till June and is nowhere near as big. So jealous!
Wow what an awesome market! Where do you all go? We’ve been to some of the smaller ones north of the city but they’re generally a tad disappointing.
Awesome shots!!
What a fun place to explore!
What a beautiful scene at the farmers market. When I was a teenager I worked at a Farmer’s Market on the weekends, I worked in the fish department, ours was an Amish Farmer’s Market and it was such an enlightening experience and such a beautiful sight to see. Thank you for sharing!
ewww beef tongue. LOL Your produce is so much cheaper than ours – it’s actually MORE expensive to buy fresh produce at our farmer’s market!
Wow! How do you ever decide when you have that much to choose from?!
Now THAT is a farmers market!! Looks like a fun place to hang out!
I love all of the colors at the farmers market! And WOW that is a crazy gourd!
Fun shots! We love Farmer’s Markets! They are fun, the food tastes great and we’re supporting local farmers and businesses. Can’t beat that!
love all the colors!!!
That is really a great variety of food available at your supermarket. We don’t even have so many different types of eggplants to choose from.
That is some market! Delicious.
WOW!!!!! They have EVERYTHING! I would have went nuts looking at it all. I wish I live closer. Thanks for sharing.
Oh my gosh, look at all of that produce. How awesome. Our little farmers market out here is so itty bitty. The cow tongue is disgusting but I bet my Grandma would buy it. Her favorite sandwich is tongue sandwich :X
Wow eggplant from all over the world!
Isn’t nature amazing – to come up with all of those different textures and colors of nutritious things to eat?
I LOVE going to the farmer’s market for veggies.
You are making me want to go…. 🙂
That is a really nice farmer’s market. I hate mine. Most of the items that they carry have to come all the way in from Los Angeles–a three hour drive.
Wow! What an awesome market!
Love the colors at the market. We don’t make it to our local outdoor market every weekend, but we have such fun when we are able to go.
That is an awesome Farmer’s Market. Eww on the beef tongue, though!
That beef tongue looks disgusting! lol
What wonderful photos! They had an amazing selection! By the way, I agree with your son’s reaction to the beet! LOL!
This looks great! I love Farmers markets! I think yours is a lot better though!
Wow I wish we had a farmers market like that. Luckily, the one in Asheville is pretty good.
beautiful colors & crazy shapes!!
That looks like a great market!
Wow the colors are amazing
love the photos!!
SO jealous. All that FRESH is making me hungry and I have yet to go to the Farmer’s Market this month!
I love the farmers markets around here! So much fun!
