White Chocolate Peppermint Bark Recipe
Ingredients & Supplies
- 12 ounces white chocolate chips
- 2-3 candy canes
- Pure mint extract
- Parchment Paper
- Wilton Melting Pot
- Baking Sheet
Directions
- Begin by melting white chocolate chips in a melting pot on medium heat. As soon as the chocolate chips are melted, reduce the heat to warm.
- If you do not have a melting pot you can use the microwave to melt the chocolate chips 20 seconds at a time, mixing as you go, until chocolate is entirely melted.
- Line your baking sheet with parchment paper. Place unwrapped candy canes into a sandwich bag and smash with a rolling pin.
- Add two to three drops of mint extract to the melted chocolate and mix in. Add ¾ of the crushed candy cane to the melted chocolate and mix in.
- Pour melted chocolate into the center of your baking tray. Use a spatula to spread out the chocolate to a ¼ inch thickness. Sprinkle the remaining candy cane over the top of the chocolate.
- Allow the chocolate bark to harden, and place the baking tray in the refrigerator to speed up the process.
- When chocolate bark is completely hardened, breaks up into large pieces.
- Chocolate is ready to enjoy and can be stored in airtight containers for up to two weeks.
