Stir Fry Chicken and Vegetables

We needed to cook together as a family. The recipe needed to be simple and easy. We decided to make this Stir Fry Chicken and Vegetables.

Ingredients needed:

Chicken Breasts

La Choy Teriyaki Stir Fry sauce or your favorite stir fry sauce

Hunt's Diced Tomatoes

Dole Stir Fry Veggies – frozen

Pam

Balsamic Vinegar

Angel Hair Pasta

Directions:

Cook pasta until done to your preference. Coat with stir fry sauce and set aside.

Drain tomatoes until all water is gone and set aside.

Coat pan with Pam. Generously drizzle chicken with balsamic vinegar and place in pan. Cook chicken in frying pan until it about 2/3 cooked. Remove chicken from heat and set aside for a few minutes. Once chicken has rested, dice it into once inch size cubes or small strips.

Coat pan with Pam and turn heat on high. Put vegetables in the pan and cook for two to three minutes. Add chicken. Add stir fry sauce. You need to add enough to coat all veggies and meat.

Remove from heat. Toss stir fry mixture with pasta and serve.

THat looks SO good! My kids are pretty good eaters, but they even love food more when THEY get to help cook it….they are so proud!
ME, I love it when someone ELSE cooks it…it always tastes better. Why IS this>

I cant believe all the companies who promote though such great programs like this…getting parents and kids to cook, craft, play games, travel and volunteer together. SO cool!

Years ago, before we all got so busy, this is how we learned to cook- by helping in the kitchen- we ‘moved up’ the ladder from setting the table to helping chp and finally make a meal (or partially make it) so much of it has been lost just due to time restraints. I grew up on a farm- so ours went from picking in the summer and canning in the fall.
I am glad to see families going back to the basics- home cooking is better for you -you know whats in it, and how it was prepared!
