The ideal waterpark vacation destination for kids and adults is SeaWorld Aquatica in Orlando, Florida. There are rides and attractions for everyone, from adventure-loving thrill seekers to those who just want to soak up some sun and splash in the waves.
The waterpark has two giant wave pools. Cutback Cove and Big Surf Shores satisfy the needs of surfers, sunners, and those that just want to get their toes wet. The pools offer something for everyone, from thrills to a relaxing day by the surf.
For the youngest members of the group, Kookaburra Cove and Walkabout Waters offer safe yet exciting places to play, explore, and splash around. Walkabout Waters gives the kids the opportunity to run and climb and explore while getting their feet-and everything else-wet. Kookaburra Cove has a kiddie waterslide, waterspouts, and water rides to keep everybody splashing and laughing for hours.
Those interested in getting their hearts racing have numerous options as well. SeaWorld Aquatica has several rides for the adventurers. Roa's Rapids is a twisty, rapidly moving river ride that will leave you laughing-if you can catch your breath! Omaka Rocka is a high-speed series of tubes that turn and curve and shoot the rider into the water. Tassie's Twisters is a tower of tubes that drop passengers into the lazy river to cool off. The most popular tube ride is Dolphin Plunge. The tubes twist underwater past the dolphins who may accompany riders alongside the pipe, making the ride the experience of a lifetime.
Waterslide lovers have their pick of rides as well. Whanau Way is a fast-moving four slide innertube drop that will leave you screaming for more. Wahalla Wave and HooRoo Run is a six-story tube slide that plunges you down to the pool before you have time to recover from the climb up. Taumata Racer brings out the competitor in some. The head-first mat slide let's eight racers go down at once. The last one to the bottom loses the race!
All that fun and excitement certainly works up an appetite and SeaWorld Aquatica provides multiple options to satisfy every craving and budget. WaterStone Grill offers salads, sandwiches, and wraps for a nice, relaxing lunch for everyone to eat together. Mango Market has food to take and go, including kid favorites (and adults too) like pizza and french fries. Banana Beach Cookout is all you can eat and has the option of a one-time price or an all-day pass for the ease of everyone eating when they are ready, even if it's not at the same time as everyone else.
Finally, after all the excitement, fun and food, Loggerhead Lane may just be the ticket. Grab a tube and relax down the lazy river ride, watching the sights and enjoying the experience of SeaWorld Aquatica waterpark.
Don't forget the sunblock!
