Treat Dad to Breakfast This Father’s Day
What’s the best way to make Dad feel loved on Father’s Day? Breakfast in bed, of course! A special celebration during the most important meal of the day is a great way to tell...
There are many things in my life that I want to protect. I want to protect my home. I want to protect our financial future. But mostly I want to protect my family. My family is the most important thing in my life.
Around 17 years ago my husband and I met for the first time at a restaurant that we were both working for at the time. Friends say that we met earlier but neither one of us remember that although it wouldn't surprise me. We got along from the start and I knew within in a few months that we would spend our lives together. We made plans for our future.
Fast forward many years and now we are a family complete with three kids plus a dog. I worry a lot (mostly unnecessary) about my children. I worry for their health, their safety, their futures and more. I want our children to be able to attend the college they want to attend or to pursue something else after high school. That requires savings and this is definitely something I want to protect. I want to protect their education and I am constantly looking for ways to save for them.
The Protective website is available for you and can assist with your planning needs. The site can help you feel better about what you find worth protecting through a variety of services including:
With so many great topics, you can find exactly what you are looking for. Read one or read them all.
College can be scary. It was scary for me years ago just attending as a student. Now the thought of getting three kids through college is at the very least overwhelming and most one of the hardest things that I have ever had to plan for in my life. By visiting the College Planning portion of the Protective website I was able to get information like: A Primer on 529s, Countdown to College and Financial Aid Explained. They offer some great planning options and wonderful solutions that can help parents out.
It makes me feel a little better to be able to find everything in one place.

Planning for putting three kids thought college sounds terrifying, just from the finances alone! Good luck! #client
My husband is in charge of all our financial planning, but I think we could probably use a little help.
I have an only child, but am still worried about the continually increasing college costs. We are saving regularly now and hope that everything works out well.
I’m definitely protective of my kids and their futures, too. We just started saving for college for my oldest two, but I still have lots of questions.
I am protective of my health, it is the only thing I have that can guarantee me more time with the people I love! So, by default, I am protective of my family!
Now that we actually have a steady job pulling in INCOME and no longer students this is something the husband and I have been talking about a lot lately. It is good timing to let me know about Protective. 🙂
I am so protective of my kids and worry often about them and their future. It is great there is a site like this that helps with the planning of that future!
I’m protective of my family in every way. I never knew I could feel so protective of anything until they came along.
There are so many things to consider when you’re trying to make sure your family is protected. It’s nice to know there’s a company out there that can help.
We do a pretty good job staying on top of our finances, but we could definitely use some help every now and then! And college is ridiculously expensive! I remember when you really could work trough college, now that is a dream!
I’m so glad I ran across this post, this is the type of help I could use right now!!
Having a family changes everything. You care about things you never thought you would in a million years.
Most of all I am protective of my family. They mean the world to me and there is nothing I wouldn’t do for them. I’m also protective of my home and belongings. Hubby and I worked SO hard to get where we are and what we have so there is no way I am letting someone just come along and take it away.
I’m protective over my kids for sure. I always have been. I also was protective over my dad because he had a physical disability and I hated when people stared at him.
Thanks for this great resource. There’s nothing more important than family, so we have to make sure we protect them in every way we can.
I can’t wait to check out this site to see how “protected” I am with my family’s home, belongings, etc.
My husband handles the finances for our house. I am protective of anyone that I care about.
I am planning now and always worry about college funds! Can you ever really be prepared for it all? I try LOL
My family!! I have two little ones that I’d love to give the world to!
I am so protective of my kids! I wouldn’t want it any other way though!
I’m protective of my family. I think as a mother all of us can say the same.
I’m very protective about my kids as most are. great post
